Juan Carlos Lérida will give useful tools specially adjusted for the participants' needs. He will give insights in his own methodology for the flamenco dance.

The different exercises will ensure every participant understands their own body movement as well as understanding the relationship with the sensitive, rhythmic and aesthetic character of flamenco.
Lessons are recommended for flamenco dancers, teachers and choreographers with an interest in developing new body and acting styles in order to improve their own body rhythm.

Juan Carlos Lérida offers an approach to flamenco through pedagogical processes he named Flamenco Empírico Method. With this method Lérida shares his resources and tools for the practice and understanding of the different elements that make up dance: Techniques, expression, rhythm. His work gives an insight into the coordinates that build flamenco dance from the observation and practice of movement, body percussion and zapateados. The process, in addition, is enriched by the dialogue with flamenco live musicians. The Flamenco Empirico Method adds techniques of improvisation and composition from flamenco to the knowledge and learning of body technique.The sessions are developed to cover all different levels; they offer further developement and deepening of their techniques to professionals and semi-professionals of flamenco dance as much as a first approach and pure enjoyment to flamenco beginners
